Established in August 2000. Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a project of the Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET). Internet Service Provider (ISP) is the section of Computer Engineering Department (CED). This department has a first complete ISP setup in the education sector providing Internet Services to the Students, Faculty members, Board members and other staffs. The Services were started with a large number of Digital ISDN PRI-lines and high speed Fiber Optics Backbone.

Our mission is to provide high quality Internet Services combined with guaranteed to make the Internet experience more economical and enjoyable as they are designed in a way to serve up every segment of Internet users in Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology.

With this kind of variety, Internet Service Provider (ISP) will continue provide the best services in University Campus. We are maintaining the Internet Bandwidth provided by Pakistan Education Research Network (PERN) through PTCL to all departments of the University including Computer Engineering Department on Fiber Optics backbone. In addition, we have a programmed plan in place for upgrading and expanding our bandwidth even before the need arise.

Internet Service Provider (ISP) is providing uninterruptible quality Internet Services to all over the University Campus through ISP section. For quality enhancement, this link has been upgraded to Giga bit connectivity in June 2009 therefore ISP Services at the University Campus premises are continuing with free of charges for faculty, staff and students for long way in helping the research activities as it provides most up to date knowledge on the web sites.
